I like driving by bus at nights here. Especially those Saturday evening party buses, where everybody's heading to a party. Already the music in these buses is very good, kind of disco music that gives you the feeling of starting dancing in a bus already. The people there are much more interesting too. If you search for internationality then one way of finding it is driving by bus at night - arabians, chineses, africans, estonian, etc. There is something in the air at night in bus. Feels so good. People are mostly just smiling and being friendly, kind of feels like home sometimes.
To get into discotheque, you must ring a bell on the door. One tall and serious security fella steps out. Watches us. Face is like: "What do you want from here?". Mari: "What can we do to enter, pls?". Security fella: "You show your identity card. But there's nobody here at the moment. People usually come after midnight (discotheque opens at 23). Go and have a little walk and then come back." We: "Emmmm oookey."
Fine. So it doesn't matter, that it opens at 23. You cannot enter before 12. One useful rule to know about nightclubs.
So we walk and walk for an hour. We go back. Same security guy, same serious face. This time he lets us in. Thank god, we didn't have a mood to walk any longer. We have to give away our clothes and... a bag!!! (what the fck?) And pay 2 euros for it of course. We go upstairs to drink something. We buy juice. 4 euros. Great! I pity people who buy alcohol there. I mean, they would spend probably around 30-40 euros just for drinking.
So now we know how to nightclub in France.
