Paris

Well I'm not gonna tell the whole story about Eiffel towers and stuff. It was fun in general, because travelling with Tiina is fun and you can count on her, because with her you never get lost. And she's full of energy even in the evening after walking about 10 km around in the city. Some funny moments that I like to laugh about.
* men are very attentive, especially when you're wearing a miniskirt (don't do that in Paris, if you don't like attention), one fella started running after us, screaming Chérie!!! (Darling!!), we were escaping as fast as possible. One started talking and gave his namecard with phone number and address.. One screaming "Magnifique!". Next day I was wearing trousers and running shoes.
* We were crossing the road, not a zebra, just some place. One car suddenly stops, me being amazed, but happy that the driver was so polite to let us cross the road. Then Tiina screams from other side of the road: "Mari, watch your skirt!", then I noticed that my long skirt was holding very weirdly because of the bag, it was up until almost my hip. No wonder the driver stopped. Embarrassing but funny to remind.
* People just offering help, without asking it. We were taking photos with my roumanian friend, i took a photo of her and then she took a photo of me. One american woman came and offered that she can make a photo of two of us together. How amazingly nice! Then we were standing in the middle of the street looking the map and searching for metro stop when one fella with a cat on his shoulder came by bike and stopped and asked "Where do you want to go", we said, metro staion and he kindly showed it to us. In the last evening me and Tiina wanted to eat real french pancakes, but didn't manage to find a cafeteria where to eat it. Then we stopped by from one fastfood restorant and asked from the man there and he asked us to follow him, showed us the pancake restoran, entered there with us and told to waitresses there "These two girls want to eat the best pancakes in Paris!". And we got our pancakes. Reaallly good ones!
